Message an incorrect picture of my goal. I am looking for a REAR pad that will help hold an automatic turbo car at the line better (than the pads it now has) to make more boost and lean against the torque convertor harder (before launch). The problem is that the rear wheels start moving and push the front tires across the line, tripping the lights (even though the fronts aren't turning). My (possibly incorrect) thought was that a pad that has an increased coeffecient of friction as it gets hotter would hold the rear wheels better and allow for the car to "leave harder" (I hate it when people make "quotes" when they type something.). I hear you Scott about the point of a hot pad against a cooler rotor, but how about some middle ground, a pad that will work because of the heat introduced in the back brakes because of the burnout, without doing damage to brake components? I have the gift of saying in 100 words what most people can say in four. Thanks again, Mark
